Amerman Elementary Needs Your Vote to Win Grant for Playground Equipment

Amerman Elementary School has been selected as a finalist in the Bank of Ann Arbor Project Help Community Grant program for a potential grant of $10,000 for new playground equipment. Amerman is working on improvements to their playground due to the necessary removal of outdated equipment that must be replaced. Their overall goal is to raise $42,000 and this grant will take us along way towards that goal.

The winner will be selected based on the number of votes received on the Bank of Ann Arbor Facebook page. Just click on the link below, and if you have a Facebook page, you can vote today and every day through May 23rd. Each Facebook user can vote only once per day. When you click on the link and log in, you can click on the "Project Help" icon and "like" it. Then the candidates for $10,000 grants will come up. Select Amerman's project and vote!

So remember, if you vote each day from today through May 23rd and pass the word on to other family members and friends, you can help Amerman win a much needed grant and provide them with a playground that our school and the whole community can enjoy.

Thanks, Michelle, for submitting this to the patch! Amerman's Project Playground committee is working diligently to get the votes and get this grant to ensure that we replace old, worn equipment for the new school year! We are 70 votes behind the front runner for the grant so let's get voting!

You're welcome! I just asked a friend with a huge following (nearly 5,000 Facebook friends) to put it on his page. From the way votes are adding up for us, looks like his friends are voting!
