Northville Record Online Dating to 1869

Interested in searching back issues of the Northville Record, but don't want to use reels of microfilm?  The Northville District Library is pleased to announce a new service that offers the capability to search the newspaper online, with issues dating back to 1869.

Thanks to a generous donation from the Friends of the Library, this project allows library patrons to take a historical look at local, national and international news throughout the decades, in a searchable format.  Visit the library’s website at northvillelibrary.org and click on Northville Historical Records under Explore Northville on the left column.

The Library is offering a class in early January to anyone interested in learning more about how to search the newspaper online.  Call to register for this class, The Northville Record Gone Digital, Monday, January 7 at 7 p.m. at 248-349-3020.

Call the library at 248-349-3020 with any questions.  The library is open Monday-Thursday 10 a.m. – 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m, and Sunday from 1 – 5 p.m.
