This weekend, Mustang Youth Takedown Club battled it out Downriver! It was an "open" division only tournament.  Which means most of the wrestlers competing have had more than 2 years experience wrestling in tournaments.  Andrew Hayak, won 1st place, by conquering 4 wrestlers.  Aidan Hayak received 3rd place and had a very tough weight division.  Boden Dietrich went for "true 2nd" losing by 3 points, giving him 3rd place.  Grant Hood and Parker Dietrich battled long and hard in their bouts.  Grant pinned two of his competitors, which is a great success in this division.  Parker Dietrich won his first match with the very last second of the match getting two more points, making his lead 17-2!  They all did very well and are gearing up for Regionals this weekend at Tecumseh High School.  Come join us and cheer on your youth team!
