Santa's House Renovated By The Village Painters
Santa had a beautifully renovated house to greet children in while at Northville's Town Square this holiday season thanks to some talented local residents.
Northville's Santa House had been sitting in disrepair in the DPW yard for years. Members of the Village Painters, the local chapter of the Society of Decorative Painters, volunteered to renovate it. The house was overhauled with fresh paint and a Nordic design around all of the trim. Final touches included new curtains, signage, and a new vinyl tree skirt for the Town Square Christmas tree.
Ruth and Mark Vernacchia, Michelle Handley, Linda Morgan, Prudy Vannier, and Linda Christopher donated time and talent. DPW moved it by fork lift to it's special place in Town Square for all to see this holiday season.
