Only those who are brave enough, will battle the first wrestling tournament of the season.  When the muscles are just getting used to a full body workout 4 times a week, that's when you throw yourself on the mat against some of the toughest guys in your weight class and region.  That's what several of our Northville Youth Mustangs did this past weekend.  In the novice division, Eian Szerlip received his first ever medal, and being only in kindergarten didn't want to get off the mat and take on more opponents!  In the open division, all the competitors fought hard, and many times long battles.  Aidan and Andrew Hayek, Gavin and Jagur Nafso, Parker and Boden Dietrich, and Mason Jennings all walked away better wrestlers. Next weekend, the Top Hat occurs at the Woodhaven Warriors home!  Anyone is welcome to come and support our tough crew, the number of wrestlers only increase after the winter break!!
