The 2013 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships get under way today at Compuware Arena in Plymouth Township.
Opening ceremonies are set to begin at 12:45 p.m., with competition following immediately afterwards.
Here's a look at Thursday's events:

Daily Event tickets may be purchased at the arena box office, which will be open two hours before the competition starts each day. Tickets may be purchased with cash or personal checks. An ATM machine is available in the lobby at the Compuware Sports Arena — no credit or debit cards will be accepted. All seating is general admission.
- Adult ticket: $25.00 per-person/per-day
- Children 12 years and under: $15.00 per-person/per-day
- Seniors 60 and over*: $15.00 per-person/per-day
- Active Military*: $15.00 per-person/per-day
- Children under 2: No charge
*Note: IDs are required for discounts.
Parking will be $5 per-day per-vehicle during the competition, Feb. 28–March 2.
