Here's more info from the event listing: "Clean and gently used clothing including outerwear, business clothes, shoes and belts and blankets needed for the Fort Street Presbyterian Open Door Ministry in Detroit. New underwear and socks are also appreciated. A truck will be parked along the east side of the church behind Starbucks."

According to history.com, German mathematician and astronomer Johannes Kepler hypothesizes that the universe was created on this day in 4977 BC. Kepler, born in 1571, is considered a founder of modern science.
