- Northville weather: Mostly sunny skies are expected today with a high near 81 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. In the evening, expect partly cloudy skies with a low around 63 degrees.
- The lowest reported gasoline price in the Northville area – as of late Thursday night, according to DetroitGasPrices.com via GasBuddy.com – is $3.59 per gallon. That price is reported to be available at the BP at Seven Mile and Beck roads.
- The Susan G. Komen for the Cure 3-Day walk will be passing through Northville Friday morning. See our previous story for more details on cheering stations, at which spectators can encourage walkers. The Northville station will be open from 7:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
- The Northville Art House will be hosting a Painting & Drawing Drop-in Open Studio for $10. Experience levels range from beginners, professionals and those who fall in between. The event goes on from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

About gas prices. I thought they were suppose to be going down some. But I do not see it. A few would post a price of 3.54 at one time of the day. If you go back an hour later it is raised to 3.75. Also why is it that Novi gas stations are always higher than any where else?
You would think with all the constrution going on they would lower the price some and draw more business their way.
