From events to gas prices to the weather, we've got info important to Northville today.
- Northville weather: There's 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. Also, mostly sunny, with a high near 81 degrees. In the evening, there's a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms and a low around 66 degrees.
- The lowest reported gasoline price in the Northville area – as of early Monday morning, according to DetroitGasPrices.com via GasBuddy.com – is $3.50 per gallon. That price is reported to be available at the Sunoco near Five Mile and Haggerty roads.
- State senator Patrick Colbeck and representative Kurt Heise will be featured speakers at the Wayne 11th Republican Committee gathering tonight. The legislative update event will be held at the Northville Sports Den at 7 p.m.
- Children 2 years and older are invited to a storytime, which will include cookies and milk. The event will be held at Hearts of Inspiration at Northville Square. It begins at 10:30 a.m. and cost is $6.
