Barking Dog Prompts Police Response in Northville
Neighbor calls police to report noise complaint.
Northville Police responded March 14 to a home at the 800 block of Revere Court for a complaint of a barking dog that reportedly had been an ongoing issue, according to a police report.
Police met with the woman who made the call, who told police the dog barks nonstop between 9 p.m. and midnight and she would like the owner to be ticketed, the report indicated.
Police met with the owner of the dog, who told police she had just let her Jack Russell Terrier outside for less than five minutes to use the bathroom.
Police told the woman to accompany the dog when she lets it outside, and she agreed to do so.
A noise complaint citation was filed and will be sent to the woman.
