Business Owners: Claim Your Free Listing on Northville Patch
Business owners in Northville can take charge of their information on our site.
Do you want to enhance your presence online this year and reach new customers for your local business?
Well, Patch is here to help — and we can offer you a few perks for taking the time to connect with your community online.
Every Northville business has a space on Northville Patch. We've already done the legwork to create it for you. If you haven't seen it, we'd be happy to show it to you. If you claim it, you have more control over how your business is presented online.
By claiming your listing, you will find more value in your space on Patch. It's a place to interact with your community and connect with them outside of the store or restaurant.
Just to give you thanks for claiming the listings we've created for you, you can be eligible for specialized advertising rates and we'll invite you to our upcoming events geared to the business community and how you can make the web work for you.
HOW TO CLAIM YOUR LISTING:
- Visit your local Patch site. If you're already a user, make sure you log in first.
- Click on the "Places" tab at the top of the page.
- Search for your business/organization and click on it.
- Scroll half down the page to where it says, "Do you own or manage this location? Claim it!" Click on "Claim It."
- Login and complete the four-question form providing all necessary information to expedite your claim.
- We take claiming very seriously, so please allow 3-5 business days for us to evaluate and approve your claim. You will be notified via email once it is approved.
From the dashboard, you can make changes and updates to your listing. On the left side of the dashboard you have several options:
- Your Stats
- Edit listing
- Manage Photos & Media
- Free Tools
- Paid Tools
- Contact Sales
Here you can see how many users have rated, reviewed or follow your listing. You can e-mail your customers to seek out more reviews, and link the Patch Place to your Facebook and Twitter accounts.
Add photos, website information, hours of operation, contact information and more under the Basic Info tab. Some of this information cannot be changed, but you can request a new description if you think your business is inaccurately described.
Choose Extra Info to add information like the founding date of your business, what kinds of payments you accept, if there's street parking or a lot, and more.
Manage Photos & Media:
Here you can add and edit photos and choose which image is featured. If you have video or PDFs, you would add that here, too.
You can see what people have to say about your business.
Post events and add job openings to our classifieds section, also known as the Marketplace.
You can upgrade your listing with a video profile, add a message from the owner and become a featured business on the Places page for a fee. You can learn more about these options and how to get in touch with a sales team member.
Have your customers engaged and rate your bussiness and talk with them right on Patch!
