Car Stolen From Twelve Oaks Mall Parking Lot
The following information was supplied by the Novi Police Department.
The Novi police were dispatched to Twelve Oaks Mall on Nov. 23 after a woman told mall security that she could not find her car and believed it was stolen, according to a police report.
The woman works at JCPenney and said she parked her van in the first space near package pickup at 7:30 a.m. When she finished work at 8:45 p.m., she went out to the parking lot and the car was gone, the report said.
The woman said she still had her keys and her husband had the only other pair of keys, the report said.
Twelve Oaks security captured the incident on video, the report said. At around 4:30 p.m., four male suspects can be seen walking around the van. Two of the men are seen getting into the van and driving it away, the report said.
No glass or other evidence was found on the scene, the report said.
Police entered the car as stolen and turned the case over to the detective bureau.

And the police still think car break-ins in Novi are just kids prank or very rare? Wake-up! This is an organized crime. Never shop at the Twelve Oaks until they protect us. Remember when you face thugs breaking in your cars, they can hurt you. They are capable of hurting people. That is what rats do when their backs are against the wall.

maybe they should show the video captured so the public could help capture these men.

I've become really paranoid about parking anywhere in Novi, especially at 12 Oaks. Here's to hoping we can figure out a way to cut down on the car break-in/theft incidents.
