In celebration of the chain's customer appreciation day, Jimmy John's locations throughout metropolitan Detroit will be offering 8-inch subs for a buck from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday.

The promotion is limited to subs numbered 1 through 6 on the menu. Customers are limited to one sub each and it must be purchased in the store. Deliveries are not available.

Local Jimmy John's shops include one in downtown Plymouth at 770 Penniman and one on Five Mile Road just east of Beck Road. In Novi, the bargain subs will be available at the shops at 39765 Grand River Ave. and 31204 Beck Rd.

And in Livonia, you can pick up $1 subs at the 37671 Six Mile Rd. location.
