Northville Has Fourth Most Expensive Real Estate Market in Michigan

Northville comes in at fourth in the state's 99 communities in Coldwell Banker's latest Home Listing Report.

In its latest national home listing report, released last week, Coldwell Banker ranks Northville as the fourth most expensive home market among 99 Michigan communities.

The report lists the average price of a typical four-bedroom, two-bath home in the city at $325,600.

Residentially, Northville, both the City and Township, is a classic example of the old adage "You get what you pay for".

We may not be able to compete with the weather and vistas Hawaii benefits from but Police, Fire, DPW, Schools, Parks and Rec., library, and affiliated services are highly professional and well run. Churches, Veterans groups and various social and special interest organizations are active throughout the community. Volunteerism is always high for virtually every community project. Our houses are attractive and well maintained. Shopping options for merchandise and services are widely variant and relatively complete either in or to the area. Merchants repeatedly demonstrate their willingness to not just be here 9 to 5 making money but to donate funds as well as actively participate in community activities.

Most importantly, without being 'gung-ho wacky' (except maybe at Halloween) there seems to be a high level of community 'spirit' always present and 'tappable'. This list is just way too long to even get started on here.

Being Number Four is absolutely no problem.
