Independence Day Parade Rolls Through Downtown Northville
Northville's annual Independence Day celebration brings parade through downtown.
The annual Fourth of July parade brought crowds of people to downtown Northville on Monday morning.
This years parade featured classic cars, musicians, unicycles, superheroes and more.
The parade started at around 10 a.m. after Korean War veteran and Northville resident Conrad Podolski-Dowel was awarded the Purple Heart.
Podolski-Dowel was also apart of the parade, riding in a Ford Mustang provided by the Tom Holzer Ford dealership.

Nice coverage of the parade! We were not able to attend because we're traveling. Also, nice job on the Patch! Lots of good information.

Spent the perfect day at Mill Race Village. They had a Civil War encampment and the 5th Michigan Infantry Band playing in the gazebo.

I helped pass out candy for Joe and Kyle Sedgewick. I shook hands with Thad McCotter. I watched the parade roll on by. It was FANTASTIC!
