Man Arrested For Hiding Stolen Champagne in Pants, Backpack at Northville Meijer

Champagne bottles reported stolen from Meijer
A 26-year-old Washington Township man was arrested on Sept. 12 after Northville Township police discovered he had stolen champagne bottles from Meijer.
According to township police reports, the man was seen by store security hiding champagne bottles in his backpack and leaving the store. Northville Township police caught up with him at one of the exits and the man pulled out a bottle from his pants and five more from a backpack he was carrying.
Accused Kohl's shoplifter arrested
A pregnant 24-year-old South Lyon woman was arrested on charges of shoplifting on Sept. 11.
Kohl's store security told Northville Township police that the woman was seen hiding two packages of earrings in her purse, according to the police report. She was arrested, handcuffed in front, because of her pregnancy, and later released on a $100 bond.
She is due to appear in the 35th District Court in late September.
Two boys trespass on roof of school building
Two unidentified boys were spotted on the roof of the Northville Public Schools administration building on Sept. 13. According to city police reports, the boys gave an NPS employee fake names and left before police arrived.
