The man told police the vehicle was not registered and that he did not have insurance, nor did he have any repair paperwork, the report indicated, telling police a family friend performed the work.
Police cited the man on charges of having an unregistered vehicle on the roadway and not having insurance. He has a March 13 court date at 35th District Court in Plymouth.
Police asked the man to leave the vehicle in the parking lot where he had pulled over until he obtains the proper registration and insurance.
