Northville City Council Awards 3-Year EMS Contract

Community Emergency Medical Services (CEMS) will provide emergency medical services for the City of Northville at no cost to the community.

Community Emergency Medical Services (CEMS) was determined to be the most advantageous provider of emergency medical services for Northville based on bids submitted in September.

"CEMS was the only provider that agreed to provide coverage without a fee," said City Manager Pat Sullivan.

The Northville City Council moved to award a three year contract to CEMS at its meeting Monday night.

Northville worked with Novi to request the proposals and determined that Northville would be better served by pooling its run volume with Novi and having a formal contract with the provider.

I wonder if Plymouth Township has a nice deal like that with Huron Valley Ambulance?
