Northville School Bus Involved in Traffic Accident

Bus was rear-ended on Six Mile near Sheldon; no one was injured.

 

A Northville Public School bus was rear-ended Monday afternoon while stopped at a stoplight at Six Mile and Sheldon roads, according to a release sent out by the Northville school district.

The bus was carrying 25 students at the time of the accident, but no one was injured, the release said.

The bus was headed toward Winchester Elementary and students were transfered to a back-up bus at the Northville Township Municipal Building.

The bus driver involved was not injured and was not cited in this incident, the school district said.

I like to know how a school bus was rear- ened when he ws stopped at a light? This is a sample how somw drivers do not pay attention to safe driving. Nor do they stop for a school bus.
