Parade Kicks Off Northville's Victorian Festival (VIDEO)
Several Northville groups participated in the downtown Northville's historic festival parade Friday.
Despite the rain, hundreds of onlookers watched as Northville celebrated its Victorian roots Friday night by kicking off the Victorian Festival with a parade.
Several groups participated in the Northville Chamber of Commerce-sponsored event. Northville High School's marching band, several elementary schools and more walked down Main Street. Some in the parade tossed candy into the hands of delighted children while some others played music as they passed.
The Victorian Festival continues through Sunday with festivities in the downtown area. For more information and to see a schedule of events, see our previous story or the Chamber website.

Would be nice if they let people know what streets the festival will be on , especially if they want others to visit from other areas who do not know Northville

There are "for more information" links in the story :) But Main and Center streets are where most of the action will be. Other events will be held at Mill Race Village.
