Starting today, Northville Patch will run a new weekly feature called Patch Picks, highlighting editor and reader picks of great local businesses, destinations, services, organizations, ways to spend a day off and more.  

You’ll find useful lists to help you, your family, friends, and significant others find the best places for everything from Sunday brunch to New Year’s Eve celebrations, pumpkin patches, date night destinations, florists, girlfriend nights out, kids party places, parks and more. Here is our first list.

Patch Picks: Super Bowl Crawl

• Northville Sports Den: Sundays have happy hour all day which means $5 appetizers and beer specials.
• Aubree's Pizzeria & Tavern will be running a VIP special for the Super Bowl. Free passes are being given out on a first come, first serve basis. With the passes, you'll get exclusive access to the bar area where free appetizers will be available in the game's first quarter. Come half-time, Aubree's will offer VIP guests free pizza followed by free desserts in the last quarter.
• Buckministers will be open for the big game. Check out some of their specialty drinks.
• Poole's Tavern will also be open for the Super Bowl. They have big screen TVs, so you won't miss a single play.
• If you like wings with your Super Bowl viewing, the natural choice is Buffalo Wild Wings. They've got several big screen TVs at their Livonia location at 37651 6 Mile Road.
