The people have spoken: Sportsman’s Pizzeria has the best pizza in Wayne County.

Sportsman’s, which is located on Fort Street in Wyandotte, received 48 percent of the vote in the first Food Fight poll. Frank’s Pizza was second with 29 percent, and Buddy’s was third with 22 percent.

Voting took place from Wednesday morning until Friday at 5 p.m.

Sportsman’s garnered praise from Anna Hardy Smith, who said “Sportsman’s is the best,” and 237 of the 488 people who voted in the poll picked Sportsman’s.
