Teens Caught with Marijuana at Parmenter's Cider Mill

The following information was supplied by the City of Northville police.

City of Northville police charged three teenagers for possessing marijuana, according to a police report.

On May 8, an officer was checking Parmenter’s Cider Mill, 714 East Baseline Road, which is closed for the season, while on patrol and noticed a white 2001 Chevrolet Suburban parked in the parking lot away from the buildings, the report said.

There were three people in the vehicle, two males and one female, according to the report. The officer could smell the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle, the report said.

The driver told the officer that the three of them had come to the cider mill with the intention of smoking the marijuana, according to the report. He said they were starting to smoke it when the officer pulled up. The driver said there was about one ounce of marijuana in the car, the male passenger said he had an electronic cigarette and the female passenger said she had a marijuana grinder, the report said. 

The female passenger told the officer that she and the male driver bought the marijuana together from someone in the Plymouth-Canton area, according to the report.

The three made plans to get together after school to smoke the marijuana, according to the report, and they all met at Kroger in Plymouth Township before going to the cider mill.

The marijuana tested positive at the police department, the report said. They were all charged for possession of marijuana and the female passenger was also charged with possession of paraphernalia, the report said. They have an 8:30 a.m. hearing May 20.
