Rep. Crawford Comments on State of the State Address

Crawford said there is still work to do in Michigan.

State Rep. Hugh Crawford, R-Novi, made the following statement Wednesday night after Gov. Rick Snyder's third State of the State address:

"Tonight the governor emphasized the accomplishments we've made in helping Michigan become a comeback state. We made difficult decisions the past two years, however, there is still work to do. I enjoyed hearing Gov. Snyder’s ideas and goals for the new year. I remain focused this term on making our state a better place to live and work for our hardworking taxpayers."

"As I enter my third term, I am looking forward to continuing our work to eliminate unnecessary regulations, and keep government accountable. I look forward to working with Gov. Snyder and my colleagues to continue to move Michigan forward."

Crawford represents Michigan's 38th District, which includes Novi and part of Northville.

I had to read this twice! "Representative Crawford comments." This is news indeed since he is usually nowhere to be seen or heard. All of my other representatives at least acknowledge my letters and calls. Not so Representative Crawford.

Yes - thank you for the post - please be more visible. Visibility leads to accountability as well as, usually, getting more done. That is what we need. Let us know what you are getting done for us.
