Salvation Army Still Needs Holiday Bell-Ringers

There are shifts open in Northville to support the Salvation Army's Red Kettle campaign.

The Plymouth Salvation Army's Red Kettle campaign – which serves Northville, Plymouth, Canton and Belleville – is behind its target this year and is looking for volunteers to ring bells through Christmas Eve.

"If there is a shift that you are able to bell-ring, it would be greatly appreciated. We are trying to cover as many locations in the last two days as possible," said Sandy Kollinger, Volunteer & Special Events Coordinator for the organization.

There are two Northville locations still in need of volunteers for two-hour shifts:

  • Kroger on Haggerty Road
    Friday from 2-4 p.m., 4-6 p.m.
    Saturday from 2-4 p.m.

To volunteer, email Kollinger at Sandra_Kollinger@usc.salvationarmy.org or call 734-453-5464.

You can also visit Northville Patch editor Nancy Kelsey and Patch advertising manager Susanne Spruit on Thursday from 4-6 p.m. at the Kroger in Northville to make a donation.
