Symbol Spray Painted Onto Meadowbrook Congregational Church in Novi

The minister of Meadowbrook Congregational Church on Meadowbrook Road in Novi reported an act of vandalism on Oct. 13, according to a police report.

According to the report, the brick wall on the southwest side of the church had been spray painted with a black, 4-foot circle with a five-point star in the middle.

The estimated cost to clean up the damage is $100, the report said.

The minister said he does not know who did it, and that it happened sometime between 1 p.m. on Oct. 11 and 12:45 p.m. on Oct. 13, the report said.
