The Detroit Tigers 2-0 loss to San Francisco in Thursday's second World Series game may leave hometown fans dejected, but at least they can enjoy free tacos next week.
Angel Pagan's stolen base in the eighth inning triggers Taco Bell's World Series "Steal a Base, Steal a Taco" promotion. On Oct. 30, 2 p.m.-6 p.m., customers can pick up a free Doritos Locos Taco at any Taco Bell, including the following locations:
- 21090 Haggerty Rd. in Novi, north of Eight Mile road
- 409 North Main Street in Plymouth
- Farmington Hills stores at 38330 W. 10 Mile Rd. and 29925 Orchard Lake Rd.
According to a Huffington Post report, the Giants center fielder didn't know about the promotion until after the game.
Game 3 of the series will be played Saturday in Detroit, with the first pitch thrown at 8:07 p.m.
