The Northville District Library hosted the "How to be a Zombie 101/Thriller Dance Class" on Tuesday.

Suzanne Schimanski-Gross, Teen Services Librarian, called Salon Tre Bella V to ask for their services. The salon sent some beauticians and a dance instructor to teach the teens a few tricks.

Ten youngsters attended. They learned dance moves from Michael Jackson's Thriller music video, got hands-on hair and makeup training, and won prizes. This night was a part of Teen Posium, a series of events held by five community libraries aimed at making libraries fun for youth.

The events were supposed to lead up to costume ball called ZombProm on Friday, but the event has been cancelled due to low sign-up numbers.
