Trick-or-Treating in Northville: Hours, Road Closures and More

Parts of Main, Dunlap, Linden and other city streets will be closed for trick-or-treaters.

 

The city of Northville has posted specific hours and road closures for trick-or-treating on Oct. 31.

In the city and township, trick or treat hours will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. But road closures in the begin a half hour before that and end a half hour after trick-or-treating comes to a close.

Here's a list of roads that will be closed, according to info from the city's website:

  • W. Main from Wing to Rogers streets
  • W. Dunlap from Wing to Rogers streets
  • Linden from Main to Randolph streets
  • West from Main to Randolph streets
  • High from Main to Randolph streets
  • Linden Court from Linden Street to where it ends
  • Dubuar from Linden to the West end
  • N. Rogers from W. Main to Potomac streets

The city also has a map of the street closures on its website.

We should be doing this on the LAST SUNDAY in October. Not on a weeknight. Better for working parents and school kids.
