Where is the Best Place for Gametime Grub?

Leave a comment letting us know where you go to get food for the big game.

With Super Bowl week here, this week’s edition of the Food Fight asks two questions.

First, are you ready for some football? And, more importantly, where is the best place to get gametime grub in Wayne County?

We know that what happens on the field on Sunday is most important, but we also know that having the right food for the big game also matters.

Do you prefer to get wings and nachos and watch the game from your favorite sports bar?

Do you order pizza for takeout from your favorite restaurant?

Or do you head to your local grocery store for deli meats to build the perfect submarine sandwich?

That’s what we would like to know in the Food Fight, where we ask you for your opinion on the best places around the area.

You can let us know by leaving a comment below listing your favorite place to go for gametime grub. (And let us know what type of food you must get, too.) You may submit comments until 5 p.m. Tuesday.

From there, we will take the top three nominees and post in an article first thing Wednesday morning. Then it will be time to vote again to decide the Food Fight champion.

Voting will continue until Friday at 5 p.m. Then, on Saturday morning, we will announce the winner.

So show your hometown pride and pick a place near you. Boast about that great local restaurant or that great eatery in your neighborhood.

And, if you are pulling for a certain place, share this column on your personal Facebook page and Twitter feed and ask your followers to vote.

This column is all about you—your ideas, your feedback and your voice—so we hope you will chime in and check back.

So, without further ado, lets get the voting started. Patch readers, tell us by commenting below, where is the BEST place to get gametime grub in Wayne County.

About this column: Each week, the Wayne County Patch sites will seek the best place to get certain entrees in the area. The Food Fight will allow readers to vote on their favorite place to get a burger or a latte or a steak, etc., in the area. We will ask for submissions every Monday, will post finalists every Wednesday and the champion on Saturday. Be sure to check back to vote. Ironwood Grill in downtown Plymouth. Can't beat the food, the service, and the over-30 televisions around the restaurant to catch up on all the games!
