If you're hitting the polls on Nov. 6, you have a lot of reading and big decisions ahead of you.
In addition to the high number of candidates on the ballot, there are several proposals that make the ballot two pages long, front and back. This will mean longer wait times at the polls, according to a previous interview with Northville Township clerk Sue Hillebrand.
Is there a way to cut down on the time you'll spend at the polls? Yes -- research. In an effort to help alleviate congestion at the polls, Northville Patch has compiled a list of non-partisan ballot proposal summaries and links to endorsements by local partisan groups.
Below is a list of ballot proposal summaries:
- The Emergency Financial Manager Law
- Michigan Job Protections
- Renewable Energy Requirements
- Home Health Care Workers
- Legislative “Super-Majority on any State Taxes
- Voter Approval for International Bridges
