View from the Village: Garage Sale-ing Saturday!

Plymouth's Historic Old Village area will once again be hosting its annual Yard and Trunk Sale event this Saturday, April 28 from 8 a.m.-3 p.m..  Over 25 homes and businesses participate, including the Funky Monkey Boutique resale and the Presbyterian Thrift Store. You never know what bargains you might find in Old Village!

Maybe you’re not looking for that great deal; maybe you’re looking to clear your clutter.  Either way, put April 28th on your calendar!  It’s a great day for the locals to sell, we are advertising and a good crowd will be checking out the deals.  If you want to sell, please let us know so we can put you on the map!  We will have maps of all the sale locations available to the public.

To get on the Yard and Trunk sale map, email moppat@comcast.net or call (734) 207-2346.

If you haven’t got room to sell at your house, or you don’t live in the area, there are spaces available in the lower parking lot of the Station 885 Restaurant. It is the Old Village Trunk Sale! ANYONE can rent a car space there for $10 and sell household wares, collectibles, antiques or whatever is legal to sell in Michigan. This part of the event is a fundraiser for the Old Village Association which promotes and helps beautify Old Village.

Call your friends and check out all the great deals! Don’t forget to visit our shops and be sure to have lunch at one of our pubs or restaurants including the unique Crawford's Kitchen, Hermann's Olde Town Grille, Liberty Street Brewing Company, Plymouth Fish and Seafood, and of course, Station 885, which is hosting the Trunk Sale.
