I always worry when I see a bicyclists riding or pedestrian walking along 7 mile road when I'mRead Moredrivi ng. In the evening hours it's even worse. When I first moved out here 3 weeks later a bicyclist was tragically hit and killed riding his bike in the dusk hours on 7 mile road. Please bicyclists, choose wisely where and when you ride. Drivers are very concerned when passing a bicyclists when they are not riding on a bike path.

There was a company here, started in the late 1800s I believe, by the name of Globe FurnitureRead MoreCompan y. Originally it was called they produced school furniture, so I am wondering if at some point they didn't mark the furniture "G S Co" for that. I found a reference in "Northville - The First 100 Years" by Jack Hoffman to Globe having a contract in 1889 to furnish "700 opera chairs for Cleary's business college in Ypsilanti". I think this is most likely the mfr. of your seats. I have never seen reference to another furniture mfr. in Northville. Hope this helps!
