Northville's summer art extravaganza is a three-day event, packed with fine art, film, food, theatre, live music and plenty of activities for kids. See individual listings on the Patch calendar for more information about some of the specific events that fall under the "Arts and Acts" umbrella this year, including the Reel Michigan Fest Festival and Tipping Point Theatre's Sandbox Play Festival. Arts and Acts, formerly known as the Art in the Sun art festival, has grown to include a wide array of art forms but Art in the Sun hasn't gone away. There will be more than 75 artists on hand as well as a children's art area, music and food to enjoy. See the attached flyer for the musical line-up scheduled for the weekend, too. The bands will perform at Northville's Town Square.
