  year they were able to raise $25\,000 through 26 bake sales and this ye

 sold and every dollar donated can make a huge impact. Here are some exam
 ples:$1 can help provide a hungry child with 10 healthy meals.\n$4 can h
 elp provide a child facing hunger with a backpack full of healthy \nfood
  over a weekend when school meals are not available.\n$9 can help connec
 t a child with healthy lunches during summer when school is \nout.\n$35 
 can help a child care center provide free after school snacks and supper
 s to at-risk children all year long.\n$65 can provide a grab-n-go breakf
 ast cart to an elementary school so that every student starts every scho
 ol day with a healthy meal.\n\nHope to see you there!\n\nIn case you mis
 sed it\, the Food Network aired a special presentation called “Hung
 er Hit’s Home.” A new documentary that takes a first-hand look at
  the crisis of childhood hunger in America through the eyes of the paren
 ts\, children\, anti-hunger activists\, educators and \npoliticians on t
 he front-lines of the battle. The film is part of an ongoing partnership
  between Food Network and Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry Campaign 
 to end childhood hunger in America by 2015.
