Thanks to the support of the Northville community, $35,000 has been evenly divided between the NHS band and choir departments.   The sixth annual Music Boosters’ Raffle was held between September and December of 2012. 54% of available tickets were sold, which is an increase from 2011’s raffle total.  Ten winning tickets for cash prizes were drawn during the afterglow following December 20’s holiday concert.   Proceeds will fund musical instrument purchase and repair, sheet music, recording equipment, classroom materials and professional support.  

Country Cabaret 2013, presented by NHS Choirs, will take center stage this coming Saturday, February 23 at 7 p.m.  12-15 individual or group acts promise a high-spirited evening, served up country style.  Cabaret-style seating (up to ten people per table) and the sounds of country music will fill the school cafeteria.   A light meal with a southern flair and refreshments are included in the ticket price of $10 in advance or $15 at the door.   Contact Carol Grimmer at carol.grimmer@gmail.com for tickets.

The high school/middle school choir concert is slated for Thursday, March 14 at 7 p.m. in the NHS auditorium.  Middle school students savor the opportunity to step up to the high school stage at this annual event.   There is no charge for this concert.
