Mill Race Village comes alive with the sights and smells of the early 1900’s as about 25 vintage horseless carriages arrive.  The South Michigan Motorists Chapter of the Horseless Carriage Club of America and the Snapper's Brass & Gas Touring Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America will be hosting the 31st running of the Lansing to Dearborn Run preceding the Old Car Festival at The Henry Ford.  They will leave Lansing on Friday, September 7 and are expected to reach Northville around noon.  Due to the nature of these antique automobiles, their arrival time is approximate.

For more information contact the Northville Historical Society at 248 348-1845 Monday thru Friday from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. or visit their website at www.millracenorthville.org.

Mill Race Village

Mill Race Village exists to preserve Northville's rich history. Free to the public, the "village" consists of a number of buildings arranged to give visitors the feeling of what pre-20th century Northville was like. Perfect for picnics and field trips, the Mill Race Village grounds host historic buildings that at one point were faced with demolition. The Northville Historical Society moved the buildings to Mill Race Village to provide residents with a link to their past.
