The Chamber Music Society of Detroit presents a family concert with Piffaro, the nation’s finest Renaissance wind band. Piffaro’s ever-expanding instrumentation includes shawms, sackbuts, recorders, krumhorns, bagpipes, lutes, guitars, harps, and a variety of percussion — all careful reconstructions of instruments from the period.

The performance will be informal and interactive, introducing the audience to chamber music in an entertaining and engaging way and providing an opportunity to meet and speak with the artists on Sunday, March 24 at 3:00 PM at the Novi Public Library.
