 s interpreters &ndash\; with the proper training. University of Michigan
  Health Services (UMHS) Interpreter Services offers a course &ndash\; Me
 dical Terminology &amp\; Body Systems &ndash\; to teach your staff the s
 kills they need to interpret competently. Mastering complex medical term
 s can be hard. Our Medical Terminology and Body Systems course makes it 
 easier. This course is open to everyone\, and the materials and instruct
 ions are presented in English only.\nThis 40 hour course teaches the Wor
 d-Building technique &ndash\; a quick and easy way to learn challenging 
 terminology. The class also teaches basic medical knowledge\, preparing 
 interpreters to work in healthcare settings and pass medical interpreter
  certification exams. It is open to everyone\, and the materials and ins
 tructions are presented in English only.\nThe course costs $280 ($265 fo
 r UMHS interpreters). Books and lunch are included if you take the full
