Practice makes perfect.  Expect perfection at 7 p.m. Friday night November 30 when Northville High School’s impressive instrumental music program explodes onto the high school stage for Band-O-Rama.  Seven distinctively different groups will present the music and moves many have rehearsed and performed since last August.

Music performed in parades and throughout football season will be the focal point of the marching band’s presentation.  Razor-sharp choreography of the color guard with its brightly colored flags will accent the music.  As is tradition, drum majors will each take the baton to direct one of the band’s selections.  A variation on a theme this year will see assistant drum majors help direct the band as well.  Fan favorites at school pep rallies and other events, the drum line promises to captivate with its unique brand of fiery bravado and skill.  Explosions of spontaneity and vitality are guaranteed when the jazz band take the stage.  The elegance that defines the NHS symphonic band is broken into three groups:  ninth grade, tenth grade and eleventh-twelfth grades.
