The Vigil Fighting System (VFS) International Defensive Strategies course is all about how to go through your daily life with maximum safety. An overarching strategy is built, then the supporting tactics are taught in later courses. Included are the fundamentals of observation, conflict avoidance, de-escalation, boundary setting, pre-incident indicators and guidelines for the application of force. Using these and methodologies from the executive protection field can help you achieve the ultimate goal of personal protection - never being in a fight in the first place.
