Biggby Offers Free Coffee on Friday With Goodwill Donation

Michigan-based coffee chain offers free short coffee Friday for completed 'Dollars for Jobs - Pass It Forward' envelopes, Goodwill donations.

Customers at participating Biggby Coffee locations will receive a free short brewed coffee on Friday between 6 a.m.-3 p.m. when they return a completed “Dollars for Jobs – Pass It Forward” envelope to the store or make a contribution to Goodwill donation boxes on site. The “Dollars for Jobs” campaign envelopes are designed to be filled with dollar bills and passed from person to person until reaching 25 people.

In addition, Biggby will donate $1 for every “Like” they receive on its Southeast Michigan Biggby Locations Facebook page during the same time period.

Biggby Coffee, which has a location in Northville on Eight Mile and Haggerty roads, is a sponsor of the “Dollars for Jobs – Pass It Forward” campaign, which raises funds for employment education and training programs and to support new job opportunities that help real people earn real jobs throughout Metro Detroit.

“Support from Biggby and other ‘Dollars for Jobs – Pass It Forward’ sponsors helps Goodwill provide vital training opportunities to put Metro Detroiters back to work. This Friday, by visiting select Biggby locations, all of us can make an impact in the fight against unemployment in our community and enjoy something delicious in return – Biggby coffee,” said Lorna Utley, president and CEO of Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit in a news release.
