Why Go: What better way to spend a girls' day out? Bring all the ladies in the family to cruise the shops along Forest Avenue, Ann Arbor Trail and Penniman Avenue for Diva Day specials at a variety of shops and restaurants. Be one of the first 500 divas and you'll get a boa, too!

Why Go: Come meet Cookie Mouse from the children's story, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. Stick around for stories and crafts and don't forget to bring your camera to snap some cute pictures.

Where/When: The Detroit Science Center at 5020 John R Street; museum hours are Wednesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
Why Go: Get fully immersed in the prehistoric world of dinosaurs. The new Dinosaurs Unearthed exhibit includes more than 20 animatronics dinosaurs. And, each ticket includes a Dinosaur Planet planetarium show and the Dinosaurs Alive! IMAX® movie.
