Friday is the last day to vote for your pick in Fred's Big Art Contest.

Northville children in kindergarten through fifth grade had the chance to submit their art under the theme "Fun in Northville." The contest was organized by Fred's Ice Cream in Northville, 133 West Main St.

Some of the pieces include drawings of downtown and a sweet-tooth inducing depiction of an ice cream cone.

The three entries with the most votes in each category — kindergarten/first grade, second/third grades and fourth/fifth grades — will be displayed in The Northville Gallery throughout December. Students will also receive Fred's gift cards, and the first place winner's class will receive $50 for art supplies and a Fred's Ice Cream party.
