Northville Ranks Among Nation's Wealthiest ZIP Codes

A new list from the Washington Post ranks Northville's 48168 ZIP code as a "Super ZIP" and wealthier than its sister, 48167.

"The ranks, ranging from 0 to 99, represent the average of each ZIP’s percentile rankings for median household income and for the share of adults with college degrees," reports the Post, which analyzed 2010 census data.

In the 48168 ZIP code, 59 percent of adults are college grads and the median household income is $121,141 for a ranking of 96. Super ZIPs rank 95 or higher, according to the Post.

The 48167 ZIP code earned a rank of 87 — 51 percent of adults are college grads and the median household income is $78,946.
