  • VEGAN COOKING – AROUND THE WORLD!

Already know a little about the vegan/vegetarian way of eating and cooking? Do you want to expand your skills and get fresh ideas on tasty, new recipes? If the answer is yes, this class is right for you! You will really get creative as Chef Ina takes you on a flavorful journey across the globe. The class participants will prepare three tasty dishes that incorporate a variety of world flavor profiles. And of course, the “cooks” get to sample each creation. Instructor will provide recipe handouts and variation suggestions for recipes learned. There is a $10 materials fee to be paid to the instructor on the first day of class.

  • GLUTEN FREE – STILL DELICIOUS!

When patients are diagnosed with gluten intolerance, shopping in grocery stores and eating in restaurants can be challenging and time consuming. Implementing a gluten free diet requires paying significant attention to food choices, as well as non-food items. This class will educate you on acceptable food choices when going gluten-free. Additionally, participants will prepare 2-3 delicious recipes that are not only super fast but also super tasty! Instructor will provide recipe handouts and variation suggestions for recipes learned! There is a $10 materials fee to be paid to the instructor on the first day of class.

  • BREAKFAST – VEGAN STYLE

Let us show you some super tasty vegan breakfast ideas. Anything from banana pancakes drizzled with agave nectar, quinoa muffins, and tofu scrabble goes- we will surprise you with 3-4 super easy and delicious breakfast dishes- guaranteed to please your taste buds. Instructor will also discuss how one can maintain a balanced diet when going vegan. Recipe handouts will be provided!   •  MAKING MAGIC WITH MICHIGAN FOODS

Join Renee Chodkowski, The Great Foodini, as she prepares outstanding new recipes using not only foods grown and raised in Michigan, but Michigan made food products. You will learn and sample great recipes that will find their way to your table time and time again. Renee will also talk about her passion for the Farm-to-Table movement and how to make the most of your Farmer’s Market purchases – from storing produce to cooking up some homegrown magic. Learn how to keep your money right here in the “Mitten,” one chocolate covered cherry scone at a time!
