The Northville Art House's latest exhibit, "Anarchy of the Line; Drawing Comes of Age," is now on display. The show continues through March 24 during Art House gallery hours, Wednesdays through Saturdays, 1-5 p.m.
The Northville Art House describes the show as thus:
"Drawing once served solely as a means to an end – a step in the formulation of an idea on its way to a painting or sculpture. But “drawing” deserved better, and artists in recent decades have recognized the spontaneity and freedom of the unfettered line as a new destination. Without constraint as to subject or material, the Northville Art House proudly celebrates the explosion of creativity that is drawing today and presents a remarkable group of local artists whose work pushes all boundaries:"
