Northville High School Grad Stars in 'My Fair Lady' at Village Theater at Cherry Hill

From this weekend through Sept. 23, you can catch all of the classic tunes of the musical My Fair Lady at the Village Theater at Cherry Hill in Canton.

For folks in Northville, you may spot a familiar face - Northville High School graduate Christine Kapusky Moore, who plays the part of Eliza Doolittle.

The show opens on Sept. 14 at 7:30 p.m. and runs through Sept. 23. On Fridays and Saturdays, showtimes are at 7:30pm. Matinee shows are available on Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $18 for adults, $16.00 for seniors and $16 for students under 19 years old.

My Fair Lady is the Tony award-winning musical that made Julie Andrews and Audrey Hepburn and Rex Harrison household names! It is the tale of Henry Higgins, a professor of phonetics who makes a wager that he can take a poor, Cockney flower girl and transform her into a glamorous, well-bred lady.  

With music and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and Book by Frederick Loewe, familiar songs include, “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “I’ve Grown Accustomed to Her Face,” “With a Little Bit o’ Luck,”  “Loverly” and  many more. The romance and comedy of this show has charmed audiences all over and through the ages!
