Children learn about Winnie the Pooh at Mill Race Village.

The Northville Historical Society has been hosting themed children's classes since January. This month's theme, which took place Thursday morning, was Winnie the Pooh.

Faye Cramton, who runs the classes, taught the children stories about Pooh Bear as they toured the grounds. They learned how to find a honey tree, enjoyed snacks and raced sticks in the river.

The classes require registration and cost $15. There's also a 15-person maximum per class.

The next class, slated for Aug. 3, is titled "Once Upon a Time at Mill Race Village." It will feature stories such as Three Billy Goats Gruff and The Ugly Duckling.
