Photography was always a hobby but I never took it seriously. I was working in advertising as an Art Director when I became friends with my wedding photographer, Heather Saunders, who encouraged me and then hired me to be her second shooter. I worked for her for a short time when I realized that wedding photography wasn't my strong suit and I love portrait photography. So here I am today photographing portraits and loving it.

Q: Why did you choose Northville?

Northville has such a strong community and that's why, when we decided to move last year, we had our eye set on Northville. So now I'm lucky enough to live and work out of my Northville home not far from our fun downtown.

Q: What kinds of services do you offer? I'm an on-location portrait photographer photographing maternity, newborns, kids, families and high school seniors.

Q: What's a fact about your business that most customers probably don't know?

I make a great effort to be a "green" business.

Q: What do you want your business to be best known for?

It is very important to me that my clients enjoy the process, their session and, of course, have photographs that they love.

Q: What's your most popular product or service?

Digital negatives by far! I just always encourage people to back them up and do something with the disk they have purchased because technology changes quickly. But you don't need a computer to view a big beautiful print or canvas hanging in your home.
